Account Manager - Financial Services

Overview

This role’s primary responsibility is to generate revenue for KOM Networks by developing and maintaining relationships with direct customers in the Financial Services Industry. Some named accounts will be deemed “strategic” and on those accounts, the Account Manager - Financial Services will work in partnership with the Customer Account Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Experience working with senior management and sales and marketing executives
  • Verifiable experience exceeding quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to have strategic business discussions with C-Level (CEO, CFO, CIO) executives
  • Strong presentation skills with a proven track record of presenting in front of large groups

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to individuals with Storage or Solution Selling, and/or enterprise sales experience
  • Vertical expertise in Financial Services (Banking)

Travel Expectations:

  • Up to 50% travel

Position Responsibilities:

  • Sell software and services to exceed annual quotas
  • Cultivate relationships with customers up to the C-level
  • Facilitate the expansion of initially sold solutions
  • Ensure the reference ability of all customers
  • Communicate all solution opportunities and applications back to KOM
  • Identify new opportunities for development and integration of KOM products and solutions
  • Identify opportunities for positive marketing and public relations for all customers
  • Demonstrate an intimate knowledge of your customers’ solutions and processes
  • Periodically show understanding of our products and solutions through internal demonstrations of the software
  • Fully utilize and comply with CRM.
