KOM Networks and Docs Etc Join Forces to Deliver Optical Storage Solutions

Texas firm adds leading document management software to increase storage solutions for clients.

KOM Networks announced today that Docs Etc., a document imaging company, has joined the company as a reseller of KOM Networks storage virtualization and data management products.

Docs Etc., based in Houston, Texas is a leading document management company that provides full turnkey information management solutions for document management and document scanning services for a wide variety of clients from state and local governments to large, multi-national companies and local firms.

Docs Etc. will be representing the OptiStorm® for Windows 2000/NT and OptiServer® for UNIX/VMS optical storage products from KOM Networks. OptiStorm® and OptiServer® have long been the industry standard in magneto optical storage solutions for document imaging and document management.

According to a recent report by the Gartner Group, the storage management market is expected to grow to over $14.7 billion over the next four years, and IT departments will continue to increase their storage budgets by up to 20% to meet growing demands for storage.
