KOM's patented e-WORM (WORM Hard Disk) technology is available on the G-Series SAN Gateways for companies that need to meet regulatory compliance requirements for fixed-period records retention or archiving. Retention policies are easily configured through the intuitive graphical interface.

The G-Series incorporates high-performance components, supports open protocols such as CIFS, NFS, HTTP, FTP, etc., multiple RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 10, 50, 6), and does not employ any proprietary connectors or data formats that could lock-in customers.

Shipping with Windows 2008 Storage Server R2 and the KOMworx Suite of Automated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) tools preinstalled, the G-Series delivers a no-compromise, cost-effective solution that can be out of the box and on the network in under 30 minutes.

G-Series models come with base managed capacity licenses from 1TB to 5TB. Add-on capacity can be added at any time on an as-needed basis.
