The KOMpliance i-Series SAN Gateway (i-Series) is an iSCSI-SAN solution designed to give Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) an easily implemented and economical means of leveraging existing SAN resources to create a secure and accessible data repository. This iSCSI SAN solution makes available the full range of storage protection and compliance features and benefits such as automated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), data encryption and secure data shredding found in our KOMpliance Storage Server.

Our patented e-WORM (WORM Hard Disk) technology for policy-based, fixed-term retention and secure archiving is also available when required by compliance regulations. e-WORM includes an intuitive GUI that greatly simplifies the process of configuring and updating detailed retention policies.

The i-Series uses high-performance components, open protocols (CIFS, NFS, HTTP, FTP, etc.), and does not lock in customers with proprietary connectors or data formats.

Shipping with Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 and the KOMworx Management Console (a Suite of Automated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) tools) preinstalled, the i-Series iscsi san Gateway delivers a no-compromise, cost-effective solution that can be out of the box and on the network in under 30 minutes.

i-Series SAN Gateways are available in five models, with base managed capacity licenses ranging from 1TB to 5TB. Add-on capacity can be added at any time on an as-needed basis.
