KOMworx ILM solution

KOMworx Enterprise provides a policy based ILM solution managing data from creation to its final disposition.

KOMworx Real-time policy engine dynamically adapts to changing demands in data storage requirements, by moving files automatically and transparently to the appropriate tiered storage. In addition, KOMworx Enterprise is able to consolidate DAS, NAS and SAN storage devices into a homogenous Virtual Volume, easily accessible by users and applications as a single drive letter, network share or mount point.

KOMworx ILM solution enables the classification of storage resources based on performance and reliability. Data is stored on the applicable resources based on access, retention, reliability and demands. Based on policies, KOMworx ILM automates data migration from one tier of storage to another without disrupting users or applications.
